Wall Street and Washington were full of people who were “qualified and experienced” in the field of finance. Sen. Barack Obama, for one, has a great deal of experience in the housing field. So do many of his closest advisers. I would have traded some of that experience for a few more leaders with less experience and more courage to buck the establishment and tell the truth about what was happening.

This brings me back to Governor Sarah Palin, and why I say that courage and political will are at the very top of the “qualification” requirements for today’s leaders. So the question is, how does Sarah Palin compare on that score with Biden and Obama, for that matter? Very well, I’d say.

Imagine a Thompson/Palin ticket! Two common sense conservatives speaking plainly to average Americans. What a breath of fresh air that would be!

A Thompson/Palin ticket would not only been one I could wrap my arms about enthusiastically but would have kept me contributing $ to Fred.

McCain even with Palin is something I may not even be able to vote for as a way of voting against Obama.

Initially I swore I would not vote for McCain. When he picked Palin, I like many others started reconsidering that decision. Now that McCain is also supporting the biggest "pork-barrel"/"Federal Earmark" to ever come down the pike I am tilting back into the no vote "for" McCain category.

At this point I don't know what I will do come 11/4.

Imagine a Thompson/Palin ticket! Dreaming of the future is fun. But in this case, I'll bet that it's like finding a four leaf clover...possible, but probably not likely to happen.

We wouldn’t be 8 points down, that’s for sure.
