Morris: "McCain is losing the election this minute"
Fox News | 9/30/08

Posted on 09/30/2008 1:33:52 PM PDT by pabianice

Dick Morris on Fox: McCain is bungling the bail-out issue so badly that he has basically lost the election by "a lot; will be 12 points behind Obama next week." McCain "is giving this issue away to Obama" by being ineffective and not pinning it rightfully on Pelosi, ACORN, and the Dems.

Pro-Obama ads are running 3-1 vs. McCain ads. Obama videos/Yoytube are running ten to one against McCain. I can't understand how a brave warrior like McCain can be so blind and go down with no fight. HOW can McCain let the ACORN issue just slide away?

A few days ago, I noticed your “birth date” and thought about the tightrope you must walk.

Agreed.

The Hofstra Poll showing McCain up 48 to 42 in the Suburbs was good also.

Yeah, it is getting hard to see how he can lose with numbers like that . . . if they are real.

This doesn’t fall under the political sleaze category, this is ABC policy stuff.

LS in your opinion what was the bad week for McCain?

Was it 9/15 to 9/22 or the days before the debate and after?

This new Harris poll showing 0 47% McCain 46% is 9/15 to 22

Unleash Palin, I think she’s playing dumb to the liberal media and using them to spred the word, and making Biden think this will be a walk in the park. I think Palin is going to bring out all the goods on “Mr Plugs” like ACORN, fannie and freddie and the democratic creetan congresses role in all of this. One can only hope Mccain has an ace in the hole and he will follow her with a slam dunk. If the American people are so dumb as to vote for a person who is involved in this scandle their attention span is very limited and if all this is brought up to soon it will be forgotten and end up being talking points at the end of the debates.

I've made it a point to become familiar with her background. I'm disappointed that she is associated with McCain. Unless it advances her.

Main economic debate is next

Great, now instead of 20 minutes of McCain talking about earmarks we get 2 hours of it. I hope his advisors read these thoughts here and elsewhere.

McCain may or may not need direction right now, I don’t know, but he should not take one word of advice from Morris. Ever.

McCain speaks in monotones, without emotion, and with no gesticulation. How can one get behind this lack of energy and purpose.

Give McCain a few of those high energy drinks before he goes on the attack..True we don't want to see McCain's legendary anger, but we do want to see some anger.

Energy, yes, but it's tough to gesticulate when you can't raise your arms above your shoulders.

Great, now instead of 20 minutes of McCain talking about earmarks we get 2 hours of it,

McCain will have a national audience --maybe his stump speech is geared to the specific audience

It wasn’t his stump speech outside a diner in Scranton, PA unc, it was all he talked about when it came to economic policy in a nationally televised debate last Friday.

True, but when he speaks he must punch his hand forward as if he were putting his index finger on your chest. Please watch him talking, he is often as boring as Harry Reid.

Take two energy drinks and come out swinging.
