Could this be why Pelosi did her outrageous little speech before doing a vote? Could it be that Nancy wanted the Bill to be defeated so that she could hurt McCain? Yeah, it makes sense to me.

I don't think Pelosi is that smart. She would have shot her mouth off regardless of what McCain said or didn't say.

I have to say that if I were the Democrats and I wanted to put together a bipartisain effort I wouldn't have picked Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank to head the effort.

Simply untrue. I was told by the messiah that this was his bill with all his stipulations in it. Mccain is just plain wrong on this one.
