I’m so glad that little girl is out of that horrible situation. Poor child. If this woman was receiving money for their care, who was supposed to be checking on their welfare?
Who was supposed to care? Ever heard of childsupport without custodial representation rights for the father?
Nah, blame the deadbeat dad, it’s her privacy and sex that counts (sarc off)
I was a military officer responsible for supervising military and civil servants a few years back. When I took over the Division (not a military Division), I inherited a situation where a woman was being accused of killing a foster child. The oldest was a boy, about 12, and the youngest was a girl (about 7 or 8). Because she had not been convicted the employee could not be fired. So, she sat in an out of the way place in our building and read the bible all day.
Anyway, she was eventually convicted of manslaughter. Apparently, she literally ran the little girl up and down a flight of stairs until the child’s spirit died. Actual death followed soon afterward. It takes a lot to kill a child’s spirit. The boy was bruised and x’rays indicated he had numerous broken bones. He had been in a succesion of foster homes over the years.
If a child has a right to anything it is to feel secure. I don’t understand abusive people. Something is missing in their make up. But that doesn’t mean they don’t know what their doing is wrong and, even worse, take pleasure in it.
