I'm not sure. We passed this as a regular initiative (non-constitutional) with 61.4% eight years ago (Prop 22). The polls these past few months have been telling us this constitutional initiative would likely lose, but polls on this topic are always underrepresentative of the real support.

Since 2000 when Prop 22 passed, the government schools and media have been working hard to indoctrinate the upcoming generations into acceptance of homosexual unions. That's eight years worth of new eligible voters. Plus many frustrated conservatives have left California. Plus, the ballot language on this constitutional initiative has been manipulated by our attorney general so that the title connotates a negative (eliminates a "right").

We need self-professed Christians (and other faiths) and/or conservatives to get registered to vote if they haven't already, and campaign, and contribute, and come out and vote.

That’s about what I figured. I was one of those frustrated conservatives from the SF Bay Area up until 2 years ago! I finally just couldn’t take it anymore, and moved back to my home state of WA.

I contributed to the “Yes on 8” campaign and sure hope it passes, but the homosexual lobby is very strong, and getting stronger. I pray that it passes.
