before i also jump on mccain, need his full quotes. If you look at the little snippets so far, he’s not saying he support or not support the bailout, only that no action is being taken by congress

Dick Morris may have been right for once. Mccain should have been opposing this bailout from the get-go. He could have found himself going again an unpopular President and Congress, and being on the of 77% of the people. He's stuck now.

Its not an indicator of whether the rest of the ecomomy is doing well or not Wallstreet is betting that inaction will result in catastrophe...I dont know if its right or not but as I understand it the experts are saying that the freezing of credit will hurt everyone, badly (I was born in 1950) Ive seen ups and downs but never truly suffered . I may now be tested
