Perhaps you don’t have a 401k. Others do.

Why exactly should my future tax dollars be used to guarantee someone else's 401(k) accounts? Why does the taxpayer only get hit up for losses without sharing in any of the rewards? Are you assuming that when I graduate and get a job, I would prefer to implicitly (and effectively) fund someone else's 401(k) instead of my own?

By investing in equities, bonds, and other securities, you assume the risk that their value may go all the way to zero.

Socialization of losses on 401(k) and other retirement accounts is plain ol' Socialism.

Why are you and other McCain supporters advocating Socialism on a conservative Web site?

They are not subsidizing 401k's. They are trying to free up the credit market. In case you missed it, genius, NO ONE "LIKES" THIS BILL. I DON'T. But it is a lot better than the alternative which is a crash. But now you can watch Pelosi ram through your worst nightmare.

Drama queen.
