Sarahcuda is going to knock it out of the park Thursday night, winning the debate by over 60% of the vote. My guess? 67% of those polled will say that she's the winner. Sorry, but not a chance in the world. Even if she wins, which is fairly likely, 90% of decided voters will claim their candidate won, just to be loyal. 90% of undecideds will not be able to make up their minds of the debate any more than they can make up their minds on whether there is a difference between 0bama and McCain. A little swing in each poll is all we'll get in the official news reports, but that will tell us how she did for real.
She will ooze charisma, poise, wisdom, intelligence, wit, confidence, and strength. She will connect with voters. McCain/Palin will get a 4-5 point bounce of of this debate.
I believe you're about right, and I will pray for that outcome.

We don’t need Palin to “win” the debate although that we be great (and we certainly don’t need her to lose it). What we need is, as Newt aptly pointed out on Greta, Senator McCain articulating his vision of the economy and where he wants to take us.

RUSH:...This is about Democrats trying to steal the country, and they'll deal with the fallout later. But as is the case in a lot of elections, I think everybody gets caught up in what the Drive-Bys report, everybody gets caught up in the polling data. Like today, all of the tracking polls have Obama up six, some up eight. It's being attributed to the debate. It's being attributed to the economic crisis. I don't see any serious polling of just how angry people are all over this country about this. You know my big desire is? I want to see on the morning after November 5th, I want to see the media so shocked that some of them are thinking about jumping out the windows of skyscrapers, not Wall Street people. I want to see the Democrats so shocked that the Democrat National Committee has to be guarded by psychiatrists to make sure the people inside do not go insane and have to be sent to an asylum. I want to see such a landslide.
Take Your Anger to the Polls
Speak up on Election Day and vote to defeat Obama.
Americans heard Obama's disdain for this country.

I actually agree even though I admit I’m frustrated at how restrained the McCain camp it taking all this economic mess. I do think McCain needs to step it up and put a little energy, no make that subdued outrage, into his message. He let Obama get away with some BS in the debate Friday night that he should of challenged.

Here is my 2 cents on the election..
1. It really dont matter for all the excitement & nailbiting up to election day, its the final results that counts and
2. Its my hopes & prayers that Obama will be so horribly defeated that he'll be in hiding for 30 days for fear of his angry followers will tears him to bits for losing the elections!!
Its my belief that McCain-Palin will win because of Divine intervention on many levels - not the least of which that Obama will implode very soon and McCain-Palin will rise like shining stars to fully capture the hearts of Americans.

Disagree. That would require that Obama voters admit that Palin won the debate even though Palen would have won the debate. Dems are largely intellectually dishonest who never concede anything. And then they turn around and brag about how "open-minded" they are. These are people who won't give Bush or McCain credit for the surge because quite frankly they really dont want America to win wars.
Kerry supposedly won all 3 debates in 2004. But the reality is that these debates are held to help undecided voters make up their minds. And of course Bush won those people in 2004 inregardless of who supposedly "won" the debates.

I am with you....
frankly, it makes me sick that we have so many scared little chickens here.......
". Men, all this stuff youve heard about America not wanting to fight, wanting to stay out of the war, is a lot of horse dung.
Americans traditionally love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle. When you were kids, you all admired the champion marble shooter, the fastest runner, the big league ball player, the toughest boxer. Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser
.AMERICANS PLAY TO WIN ALL THE TIME. I wouldnt give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. Thats why Americans have never lost and will never lose a war. BECAUSE THE VERY THOUGHT OF LOSING IS HATEFUL TO AMERICANS."
... now, some of you boys, I know, are wondering whether or not you'll chicken out under fire. Don't worry about it. I can assure you that you will all do your duty. The Nazis are the enemy. Wade into them. Spill their blood. Shoot them in the belly. When you put your hand into a bunch of goo that a moment before was your best friend's face, you'll know what to do.
Now theres another thing I want you to remember. I dont want to get any messages saying that we are holding our position.
Were not holding anything. Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and were not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.
We're going to hold onto him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the ass.
We're going to kick the hell out of him all the time and we're gonna go through him like crap through a goose.
Theres one thing that you men will be able to say when you get back home. And you may thank God for it.
THIRTY YEARS FROM NOW WHEN YOU'RE SITTING AROUND YOUR FIRESIDE WITH YOUR GRANDSON ON YOUR KNEE AND HE ASKS YOU WHAT YOU DID IN THE GREAT WORLD WAR 2, YOU WON'T HAVE TO SAY"WELL...I SHOVELED SHIT IN LOUISIANA..."
Alright now, you sons-of-bitches, you know how I feel. Oh, and I will be proud to lead you wonderful guys into battle anytime, anywhere. Thats all.....GEORGE S. PATTON
what are WE going to say to our grandchildren when they ask why we let this abomination take us over...what will some of you little, scared, wishy washy people have to say.....shoveling shit in Louisiana?...or proudly fighting tooth and nail against it?

Most people with analytical minds, and who understand the issues, would surely have given McCain a landslide victory in the debate last Friday. Point by point, McCain had it over Obama. Yet, the public consensus is that Obama won.
So, unless Biden drops dead on the debate stage, Palin will lose the debate. Biden is known for his gaffes, but, that doesn't seem to have affected anything in the polls. If Biden doesn't drop dead in the debate, then Palin will have to score a knockout on every single question or issue. Nothing less will get her a victory.
If she performs the same as McCain, with his non-partisan attitude on the economy, then Biden will win on that point. Remember that voters are presently blaming republicans for all the problems plaguing America. Until McCain or Sarah can turn that perception around, and start naming names and pointing fingers, and doing so in front of as many Americans as possible, the debates won't matter and the election is lost.

Agree completely. The polls are worthless and should not be taken seriously since nobody can reach cell phones or caller ID people.
Obummer is a sitting duck on the corruption as well as the drilling issues and should be hammered over and over. The people have to know who caused Fannie/Freddie collapse and started this dominoe.
I pray Sarah says “Corruption in DC” at least 100 times.
Pray for W, Gov Palin and Our Troops

Sarah will win in the polls only if the polls aren't liberal sanctioned polls. Even if Sarah hits a grand slam, the MSM will claim she lost to Igor Biden. Confidence is good but the truth is best.

I don't think we should rush to judgement before the event even starts. We really don't know what is going to happen.
Every time we have debates, it's moderated by a lib...and the questions are ALWAYS stacked to favor the dem. He's going to ask Token Joe things that he knows are his strong suit, and focus his probing and impossible to answer questions to Sarah. The moderator will be the prosecutor, and Sarah will be the suspect.
Sarah would do well to leave her trademark quotes, i.e. seeing Russia from Alaska, lipstick on a pit bull, ete., home on Thursday night. That's not message, it's anecdotal at best, and only gives the libs more ammunition to lampoon her on a daily basis.
She needs to come down hard on Token Joe and his running partner...nothing hurts men's egoes like being ridiculed by a woman...it's an advantage.
I think if she'll stick to her own, conservative, convictions she'll do fine. If he plays the "experience" card on her, she should just say she didn't have much experience going into the governorship either, but she did pretty well at it.
It's needs to be an "expose the democrats" night. She should get the ball rolling about the greedy ones on the left who planned, purpertated, and benefited from the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac folly. Ask Token Joe why - with his 20+ years in the congress - why he didn't step up to the plate and let everyone know about the coming financial train wreck that we're in right now.
Call his bluff about having Bush arrested, and ask how raising the income tax is going to help the economy.
She needs to use Token Joe as the whipping boy for the entire democratic party and ask a lot of "whys".
