The Republicans played a stupid game of principles and they lost badly.

Because they want free stuff for ACORN and other interests groups. Pelosi will put back this stuff, Obama will make a PR stunt by telling democrats to support it, the bill passes and Obama/democrats will take all the credit for saving the economy.

And 5 of them were "committee chairpersons"!

I'm kinda of enjoying all the Kabuki Theater going on.

Perhaps more and more Americans will realize that both the political parties share blame for the mess "they" created.

Throw out all the bums!

95 to be exact.
If the Dems thought this was such a stellar bill that was going to save us ...then why didnt they pass it?
If it was such a grand bill, and would fix things, I cannot imagine Nancy and Harry and Obama not wanting to gloat and say seeeeee what we did?
It wasn’t such a great bill and Nance knew it, and thats why she wanted Republicans on board so she could say hey its their fault.
Cut me a break...everyone settled down.
The stocks went down 777.7 today. Read into that what you may.
I will have faith.
