Nancy Pelosi, the Wicked Witch of the House, took today's bailout defeat, the social bailout wipeout, in her pantsuits. And Democrats are panicked about the election. Whatever you might hear in the MSM/Drivebys, the Democrats are in disarray. They have no clue as to how to come together. They can't govern the country and while they can try to take over the economy, they can't save it. A monumental day, indeed folks!

Donald Trump is on our side! I loved hearing him say today that we don’t need a bail out. With this rejection, fuel prices are tanking. When fuel prices tank the U.S. economy is going to soar. People can’t afford mortgages and the unplanned $4/gal gasoline with the commensurate increases in everything else (especially food). When gas prices go down the economy will be off and running. Oil was down over $11.00 a barrel (95.47/bbl) today! He said motor fuel is the U.S. lifeblood. IIRC he said he expected oil to go below $50.00/bbl before this is over.

The part that worries me is what is she up to. I read that just before the vote she went off on the Republicans. blaming this mess on Bush and them. She had to know that would stop a lot of Republicans from voting for it. Could it be that she wanted it to fail so she could say - Don’t blame me I tried.

So what this tells me is that out there in the country, all of this bitter clinger stuff that Obama talked about, there are a lot of Democrats who are not happy with this particular bailout, which means they are conservative Democrats, they are not happy with the Obama campaign. This tells me that the Democrats easily holding the House and Senate is not a slam-dunk. This tells me that a lot of Democrats in the House really fear not being reelected, and you see how those Democrats voted. God bless Rush Limbaugh.

My Congress Critter, Tom Davis, voted for it. Frank Wolf, who was my Congress Critter before the district boundaries changed, also voted for it.

Maybe, for some reason, she doesn’t actually want this thing to pass at all. Maybe she has heard from her own constituents and sees her House Career ending in November if she gets this passed. A lot of businessmen lie in her district who understand what the bill would do to the economy and thus, to their businesses. The Inflation this bill implies isn’t going to be good for any actual business.

Something tells me that Obama is nowhere up by 6 to 8 points. If he was the Democrats would have been happy to pass the bailout minus Republican votes. It would have passed the Senate. And he would have been able to take credit for fixing the economy! But none of that is true because Obama does not have that kind of lead and the political clout to get his party behind him. No matter what else the MSM/Drivebys would like to pretend otherwise.

I wish I could have heard him, I sleep in the daytime so I miss him and am stuck with Gallagher in reruns at night when I am at work. Most of the time I can’t even listen to Gallagher more than a few minutes before I have to turn him off. He just does not come across as being intelligent. The only alternative I have is Coast To Coast which is sort of like listening to inane cartoons on the radio.

Well, to be honest, more people will vote for Obama once things get bad.
The only question is if that will happen outside the financial sector before the election.
