I am trying to see what the relationship is between this vote and the issue being posted about... What am I missing? Or is it a thin reference to “patriotism”??
Here is another link which has more information than you ever wanted to know. I think they used this bill which had been floating around to carry the bailout. I think it was a matter of expedience to get it to the floor asap.
