I cannot understand why the McCain campaign has not saturated the airwaves with ads that state this simple association: Economic meltdown caused by subprime loans caused my ACORN coercion caused by Obama who was a major executive at ACORN. This is not a causal association for Obama. ACORN is Obama's smoking gun in the current economic meltdown.

This crisis is ripe for a fall guy. It seems to have such a simple and unambiguous cause and effect. Unless I'm overestimating the Democrats pressure on financial institutions to lend money to unqualified borrowers (aka affordable housing initiatives), this seems like a slam dunk.
