I agree. All i am saying is , that they have mishandled their biggest asset. With the attacks from all corners ( even her own ) the Viewership of this event will be larger than usual. This is now a media event. This is a chance to sell herself to millions . She can not due that if she is McCain jr.

LMAO! Yep, Sarah is just a no talent political rube, dumber than a box of rocks. What complete and utter BS. This woman became a MAYOR....all by herself. She became GOVERNOR with an 80% approval rating....all by herself. Hell, shes even got the shit eating oil company’s sending rebate checks to the residents of HER state. Now shes the VP candidate. The left has sent over 30 investigators to her town to sort through her garbage and has found NOTHING to damage her. I don’t think she gives a rats azz what any of these IDIOTS say about her and she shouldn’t.
When the smoke has cleared and Mc/Palin are in the White House it will be almost orgasmic to watch these people destroy each other with blame for the loss of their messiah.

She needs to give a flip answer like “I don’t need to know his name, he’s a man and all men are after the same thing...”.

I'm going to assume that your comment is meant as tongue-in-cheek as that sort of response would be far below Gov. Palin's character.

In all seriousness, she should begin each answer statomg a solid conservative principle, (less govt, lower taxes, miltary funding, pro-life, whatever) which will give her a chance to collect her thoughts plus make common sense statements.

IIRC, I don't think the article's author should be given full benefit of the doubt regarding which side of the political tree her apple falls on.

I totally agree with you. They have tried to turn her into a McCain cheerleader instead of allowing her to work her own magic.

I am sure that there are more than a few things that she does not agree with McCain on...so they have exerted too much control over her.

Tell you what, if I were her I would tell them to back off or I will quit this lousy campaign. Sheesh, she has been over handled and it shows.

I hope this campaign wakes up. They are opposed by two well run doofus brains.

Though he always was expected to help out after Sen. McCain's debate Friday in Oxford, Miss., Mr. O'Donnell now needs to "undo" much of her previous debate prep, which has resulted in occasional "rote" responses, one adviser said.

This seems to be the problem. Her "prep" has been focused on memorizing sound bites fed to her by the Bush handlers. That never works. The only kind of memorized lines that work for debates are one-liners like "There you go again "You're no Jack Kennedy" - they can't make a candidate memorize answers to every possible question! Fools!

All you need to know about this campaign is that they let one of their best weapons sit for a week in NYC and Philadelphia with nothing to show for it now that they have to undo all that worthless debate prep.

Then they sent her to a bar and let her go out for a sandwich (one day) and coffee (the next). How insulting!

The game plan should be simple. Get as many Reagan people on the phone (Michael, definitely, Nancy, if necessary) and ask them a simple question - what made Reagan, Reagan? Do what they suggest and watch Sarah soar.

I support McCain after I watched Palin on 2006 Alaska gubernatorial debate. If that same Palin shows up on this Thursday, she will continously get support from the conservatives. On Palin's past interviews with Gibson and Couric, it wasn't the same Palin that I saw in 2006.

PLEASE REAL SARAH PALIN STAND UP!!!

Kristinn,

As far as I am concerned, the lower the expectations that the Drive-by Media sets for Palin’s debate the better her chances to hit a home run...

Of course she has to deliver, but her actual performance is best compared against the delusions of the press that she is an idiot and unable to think. this is vastly superior to everyone thinking she is some sort of woman super-Reagan communicator, which is almost impossible to top.

And the more that she gets smeared the bigger the audience...

She just has to be herself and be authentic Palin.

Rob

She should just say that she has as much foreign policy experience as Bill Clinton did when he took office as PRESIDENT!

Then she should say, “look I wasn't picked to bolster the tickets’ Foreign policy cred like the Obama/Biden ticket, and that's because the guy at the top of our ticket is the leading expert when it comes to foreign policy in the senate.” It's not our ticket that is lopsided, it is the Obama/Biden ticket. Joe said as much in the primary when he said that Barack was not qualified to be at the top of the ticket by stating, “The PRESIDENCY does not lend itself to on the job training”.

But if it does happen to be true that she's struggling with the mock debates and this carries over to the VP debates, expect that to be the news for the remainder of the campaign.

If that happens, the ticket is toast. I think that's why some 527 has been running ads really pumping on the "McCain is an elderly cancer survivor" angle.
