The key is how McCain votes when it gets to the Senate.

Just had a thought that maybe Bush pushed for this to help put an end to the DEMS and help Republicans take back the House and Senate and put McCAin in the White House,
Someone on this daily thread said that Oil Exploration would probably go through, but the cost would be huge.
So, a few weeks ago, the BIG topic was DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW! The political move made by the House Republicans was pretty much trumped by this Financial mess.
Is this the deal? Give us a little offshore drilling for a completely socialized "bailout' bill?
