Machogirl...with all due respect, there is no such thing as a “former Catholic” ...once you are baptized into the true church, you are a Catholic....period. You may fall away from the true church (never a good idea}, but you will always be a Catholic.....we’d welcome you home whenever you’re ready to return...remember the prodigal son....that’s you!!!

i’ll have been thinking about that and my reasons for not attending catholic mass anymore. I’m not sure that my faith in the church hierarchy is restored.

Hmmm...

I thought you acknowledged one baptism for forgiveness of sins.

I thought that, in the right circumstances, that any baptized Christian could baptize.

So, how do you get "baptized into the true church"?

Lemme guess: Water, in the name of the father, son, and holy ghost? That's it, right?

Anything else to make you a Catholic.....period?
