Per Dr. Sowell’s thesis the outcome of the Anointed scheme to resolve the “crisis” is almost always negative. He sites numerous specific examples. The book is 13 years old but well worth the read.
I always think of Thomas Sowells’ book “The Vision Of The Anointed” whenever a “crisis” appears.
