I’m curious how they portrayed Reagan? (I was too young)

I forget who played Reagan, but they tended to play him as a forgetful, p-whipped old fool IIRC.

Amiable dunce. And Nancy was played by a vile very ugly homosexual in drag who played Nancy as vile conniving witch who used "Ronny" like a ventriloquist dummy.

I don’t remember how Reagan was portrayed as prez but when Reagan first made waves running against Ford in 1976 they sent Chevy Chase out (he was already doing the bumbling Gerald Ford) as Reagan one night.

Chase was on stage at the show’s open playing the piano saying he was Reagan and calling Garrett Morris “boy” until Morris punched him out and said “Live from New York its Saturday Night.”
