I don’t remember how Reagan was portrayed as prez but when Reagan first made waves running against Ford in 1976 they sent Chevy Chase out (he was already doing the bumbling Gerald Ford) as Reagan one night.
Chase was on stage at the show’s open playing the piano saying he was Reagan and calling Garrett Morris “boy” until Morris punched him out and said “Live from New York its Saturday Night.”

Hey, I’m not saying he’s great guy. I just thought he was funny on Weekend Update - the last funny thing on SNL, until they fired him.
To: TheWasteLand
It was really funny, he kept interupting and asking if things were funny. During the Celebrity Jeopardy he put on a big yellow cowboy hat, Will Ferrell got really ticked and started yelling at him. Norm kept asking why he was mad then would point at the hat a say, "Big Yellow Cowboy Hat...that's funny, right?"

Tina should have quit while she was ahead. But she couldn’t let it be. Now she looks like a snotty liberal horse’s ass.

(You can now see my amazing doggie and new puppy on my homepage!! Come say hello to Jake & Sonny)
There are several lessons Gov Palin learned over the years regarding sports, politics and life: she was not the smartest or fastest or even the most attractive of those she competed against. Yet she is guided by a set of core values which is vastly more valuable than the smoothest talking lawyers who would sell their souls to be in power.
Gov Palin knows that she will win games and lose some games, but she keeps her eyes on the prize and has shown over the years that she has the capability to motivate herself and others to achieve the victory in November that many thought impossible.
