It's baffling. I've had some conversations with leftists in the past couple of years.... not many, but a few. When they find out that I'm NOT a Bush fan (on account of shamnesty), they just seem sort of confused and don't know how to categorize me.

Leftists are confused. They perceive and acknowledge the same problems of this world that we do, but then they come up with solutions for these problems that don't actually fix the problems...and they do this at tax payer expense whenever possible, because of course with them, the government is supposed to be the best at solving problems.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. It just has to be. There's no other logical explanation.

Bush turned into Liberal version of Lucifer, the Great Satan. I agree that this is totally unfair to Bush. To them, Bush, McCain, Boehner, Condi, and John Bolton were all one and the same. Bush is the symbol of all 'evils' from those above. Pretty black and white logic.

That is why playing moderate frequently won't pay off politically. You got smoked from both sides, which can be pretty vicious. You can see it from the vitriol they leveled at Bush.
