This kind of craziness has infected us over here too. The other day a teacher told my son to quit throwing his stuffed animal to his brother. I guess she thought an eye was going to get poked out.

My oldest went to a private school last year. A male teacher of Lebanese descent was letting the boys wrestle around during break. Some idiot parent complained and soon put a stop to that.

When I was in elementary school (1950's), wrestling on the playground was standard entertainment. At the end of recess we got up, dusted off and went back inside. Big deal.

This is nothing to do with ‘socialism’ or ‘liberalism’ or any of that nonsense. It’s lawyers running riot taking on no-win-no fee cases and making pots of money from stupid cases, so people are scared witless of incurring any form of liability that could lead to them being financially ruined by litigation.
