You are correct, before he suspended his campaign the race tightened back up, because McCain started hitting Obama on Fannie and Freddie, and his connections.

Hitting Obama on his connections will work in the right places. I’m still troubled that he has put away NC and IN (I think Obama connections will help sure those places up). McCain can solidify independents by letting Sarah be Sarah. That means not trying to make people think she is a foreign policy expert but rather show the world the type of person she is and let her focus on the things she is passionate about.
