It is interesting getting out there and talking with the general public.
I remember after the GOP Convention, McCain gave what many labeled a “flat” speech, but it ended up resonating well with the independent voters. I think he was (rather successfully) trying to repeat that tone for the debate.
Don’t get me wrong. I think McCain missed several opportunities. He needs to do a lot better on his economic message but I think he did ok and I think especially the second half Obama didn’t fair so well.
