Frankly, putting on my tin foil hat for the first time, I have to wonder if this isn't what Ayers and related forces were hoping for regardless of when it came but the players in this Goldman Sachs (Who just happened to get "saved" by Warren Buffett) are actively working with Paulson and the Democrats behind the scenes to undermine opposition to this plan which is going to be used to pump more funding into ACORN and secure forgiveness for all of these fraudulently purchased homes courtesy of the United States government.
If you wanted to engineer a scenario to usher in a Big Government take over of the Mortgage industry I couldn't think of a more effective one. It gets the bankers to willingly give up this business to get free of the massive black hole and hands this Trillion Dollar slush fund to the Democrats if they can manage to grab the Whitehouse in this election.
