John McCain wins the first presidential debate
Kansas City Star ^ | 9/26/2008 | Yael T. Abouhalkah

Posted on 09/26/2008 8:05:44 PM PDT by Reeses

John McCain exceeded my expectations and narrowly did better than Barack Obama in the first presidential debate Friday night.

...

He was not deferential to Obama, who made the mistake of saying too many times "Sen. McCain is right" about several issues.

Intrade agrees. McCain is up 3 to 6 points (the Luntz focus group appears to have cost a couple of points).

One of his new supporter actually said he didn’t stutter.

Yeah, that was priceless. She apparently didn't actually watch the debate. 0 was stuttering from beginning to end. Word.

BREAKING: KISSINGER REPUDIATES OBAMA'S MIS-CHARACTERIZATION OF HIS VIEWS ON IRAN AND DIPLOMACY!!!!! OBAMA HAS STEPPED IN IT BIG TIME

"Henry Kissinger believes Barack Obama misstated his views on diplomacy with US adversaries and is not happy about being mischaracterized. He says: "Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality.""

Krauthammer jumped ship and swam to obama the day McCain picked Palin.

His word for me is no longer respected

Interesting that Yael T. Abouhalkah admits Mac won the debate. Yael T. Abouhalkah is a major Obama shill and Palin hater.

Frank Luntz’s undecided focus group was more “moved” by Obama. One of his new supporter actually said he didn’t stutter”

Live from Las Vegas. Which is about 65-35% Democrates thanks too skank Californians polluting the City.

Lutz is a putz...I’m still trying to locate my jaw...it hit the floor and I can’t find it. DIDN’T STUTTER????????????

I’m almost scared to death that there are people walking around, driving cars that are so far gone with mental illness and cult worship to the point I feel in danger.

Literally.

We drive on our roads with these people.

They vote.

It’s like the the invasion of the body snatchers.

People, liberalism is a disease!

hypocrats: the party

by the mentally ill

of the mentally ill

in no particular schizoid order!

I saw one of his so-called “undecided voter” groups a few weeks back. There was one guy who looked and sounded like he could have just came from a code pink rally, the others(with the exception of one older women)were all sniveling about “when is government going to come and save me” issues. If they are the ones who will decide this election McCain is toast...so is the country.

one actually said bambi never stuttered.

invasion of the body snatchers!

for sane people McCain won.

for the insane cultists bambi won.

The question in November is just how serious is this mental illness crisis in America?

McCain exceeded all expectations in this debate as well as rocking Obama from his foundation on numerous occasions.

Throughout the debate, McCain pointed out with dexterity why Obama is not ready to lead.

Obama agrees with McCain ...he should vote for him

Mc Caine should use this as a line

“Senator. I appreciate that you agree with me on this issue, I hope I have your vote in November”

Obambi has left at least 3 big points of vulnerability — if a Republican made such huge mistakes/lies/flip-flops the MSM would already have called the election for the Democrats:

(1) lied or flip-flopped about his position on missile defense - he is on video decrying “unproven” missile defense and saying he will eliminate it;

(2) lied or flip-flopped about his position on presidental negotiations “without preconditions” in first year of his term to meet directly with leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, etc. (previously in Democrat debate Obambi flatly declared he would hold such meetings);

(3) to try to cover his butt on (2) above he declares that Henry Kissinger supports his position, when Kissinger makes clear he REJECTS the idea of presidential meetings without preconditions with leaders of Iran, etc.

We need to mobilize evidence and attack on these 3 points — although the MSM will try to ignore it, Obambi has shown great recklessness on these 3 points and more.

” I thought McCain went beyond debating and was educating Bobo how the world works.”

I could see that McCain was getting to Obama when McCain corrected him. One thing in particular I noted that I thought Obama was going to nail McCain on is when McCain was talking about the Republican Guard in Iran, which he should have said Revolutionary Guard. Obama immediately said he supported naming the Republican Guard as a terror entity. It proved to me right there that Obama had no clue what he was talking about when he was agreeing with McCain when McCain misspoke.

If one does not wear the bracelet, it is easy to forget the name printed on it. Has anyone ever seen BHO wear one of those bracelets?

No, didn’t think so.

Bobo was tense and played defense. I thought McCain went beyond debating and was educating Bobo how the world works. McCain's military heritage really came out.

Anyone notice that when they showed the candidates on a split screen, when McCain was speaking, Obama was acting like a goofball making faces, point his finger, and holding his hand up like he needed to got the bathroom? - I bet that Saturday Night Live or some other comedy group will play with that part of the exchange!LOL!

That is interesting. Perhaps KCStar mgmt. gave the order to balance editorials since the subscriptions have fallen-off like lead from a shot tower.
