A subtle master stroke happens every time John mentions some statesman in our past whom he has worked with and can call upon or every place he has been to that is vital to our foreign policy. It is a subliminal thing, but it sends a message to listeners that John McCain can lead from day one, not rule by the seat of his pants the way Barry Soetoro Obama will have to do.
