The debate is not quite over, but I think McCain did well after a slow start.
What was most interesting to me is that whoever did the cameras (CNN?) panned to Obama during McCain’s responses but never to McCain when Obama was responding. What I saw was Barack Obama constantly asking Jim Lehrer to “rescue him from this stupidity”. Anyone else see that?

also - showing mccain from behind was very annoying.
