Why do Obama and Bidden keep calling SEN. McCain “John”?

It is an intentional show of disrespect. The same as the media referring to President Bush as "Bush". A lack of upbringing and a moral deficiency.

Actually Biden and McCain are good friends. He might feel silly calling him Senator McCain.

Obama has no excuse.

I posted before, and I guess it was removed.I stated Obama looked dark.I meant that everyone comments on everything in the media, age, stance hairdos etc and who ever did his makeup made him look like he was oil painted with green eye shadow .I might no disrespect, but that's how he looked side to side with McCain.

How do you figure? nObama sounded better, looked better, and other than his uh-uh-uhs to start a sentence, he was far more articulate and clear than McCain. That said, nObama had several stupid moments when he acted like a kid. McCain missed several perfect opportunities to make nObama look stupid, and McCain set himself up to get clobbered a few times too. My take... a draw. I’ll watch it again later and see if I still feel the same way.

I was wrong about McCain. I admit it. McCain came through SOLID no matter what the MSM will claim.

My problem is (perhaps I'm not alone) is that I first listen to Laura, then Rush, then Hannity and finally Levin (more during these days leading up to the election) and Rush and Levin (Hannity echos Rush) make sense to me. They are able to make me, mr. average citizen understand the truth and facts with just plain-spoken words.

I wish with all my head and heart that McCain could have spoken to BO & the watching nation what the above group beg him to say...what they explain in simple terms could put this guy away...to expose him to the light for all to see.

McCain was too much "working hard with the Democrats" "reaching across the aisle" [the Democrats at the mics stating MCain was in the way and should not have been there). McCain had the opportunity to tell us that he was with the House Republicans and Senators that are opposing this bailout bill that gives funds to left-wing groups...expose Paulson as a liberal Democrat...make the case that if the taxpayers get a return on investment, they'll never see a dime of it because it will got to new spending programs, etc.

I wanted to hear McCain state plainly that Biden speaking for Obama said NO to coal plants "let the Chinese build them". I wanted McCain to say we can drill (and refine) our way out of the problem. I wanted McCain to challenge Obama's "I'm for offshore drilling" as a offshore so far offshore where there is no oil. I wanted to hear McCain either declare that he is for "The Fair Tax" or "Flat Tax" to shut the door on the 'tax-custs to the wealthy'. I wanted to hear McCain do the Rush clear explanation that business/industry don't pay taxes, they just pass the cost along...until they become too high and regulations force them overseas...and NOT punish them as Obama wants. I wanted McCain to explain that eliminating the corporate taxes and capitol gains tax and other would bring back investment and a booming economy to the U.S..

Basically, I wanted McCain to to a Rush-Levin-Hannity on Obama. I know that I have to smack myself on the back of the head to wake up and realize that neither McCain nor Sarah Palin can say those things.

P.S. Obama was running on about Osama bin Laden. He has not been seen or heard from in how long? Only Mullah Omar has. Is bin Laden still 'out there'? My bet is that he is dead and only his legend lives.

Why does Obama always get to talk twice as long at these debates?
