I agree...McCain is not hitting hard on the ‘sound bites’ that the media will play. While he is more experienced, etc.. he can’t assume most Americans know much about details.

I try to view this debate from the perspective of independent voters and I tend to agree with your comment...sadly.

They are Hillary supporters. Can’t stand Obama. Many of them have become Republicans recently and are actually proud of it.

Definition of a conservative: A liberal who gets mugged.

These two are polar opposites....Obama paints broad strokes....which means you get to fill in the details on how you THINK he is going to run the country...mainly because he is inexperienced and immature. McCain is a details man and loves to give facts, figures and truths from his experience and general knowledge base.

The bottom line is.....the kind of American who perceives things as Obama does and HOPES he does the right thing will vote for him no matter what. Why muddle those broad strokes up with facts..... LOL!
