One Internet source said that inflation in 1947 was 14+ percent and the annualized Inflation Rate 1945 - 1951 was 6.31 percent.
So, at an average inflation of 6.31 percent per year for a few years the 10.6 trillion dollars will be around $39 in 2008 dollars. :)

Amnesty is not dead, just delayed. President Mccain will push it thru. And I just bet Palin will be on Rush’s show to tell us how wonderful it is. first 100 days.
That may be, but we’d have amnesty already if the people hadn’t risen up against it.
