Very well said, at the nixon, kennedy debate, everyone claimed initially that Nixon won, the people perspective was much different.

The Nixon/Kennedy debate was a textbook case of the power of a visual image, i.e. the TV screen.

People that listened to the debate on the radio thought Nixon won. People watching the debate on TV saw Nixon sweating profusely and interpreted it differently.
