What gives Obama the idea that he’s the one who can restore the world’s faith in our leadership? Europe only loves him because they think (know) that he’ll only weaken our resolve to lead.
I don’t think Obama gains no points while attacking the war in Iraq or our standing in the world for that matter. This is typical whimpy liberal-speak. He should avoid it as much as possible. McCain will seize each moment to praise the troops, Gen Patreus, the surge, which is right in his wheelhouse - a homerun with ever response.
