Dick Morris says "This bold move by McCain is about to work. Big time." I know, I know. It's Dick Morris. But I hope he is right. Obama and the democrats are now tied irrevocably to the unpopular Bush/Paulsen plan. McCain will come out great in this...if he sticks to his guns.

McCain has to do more than just stick to his guns.
He has to make the very argument you have himself.
He must come out and tie 0bama to the $700 Billion Bush Bailout.
And he must offer a sensible alternative to it.

The worst that can happen is McCain votes against an unpopular plan. The best would be if He influences them to pass a better plan. Either way, he wins.
Barry will either vote for an unpopular plan or not vote at all. Either way he loses.
