That is simply a distortion of everything that Newt, Dick Morris, and Hannity said.

All agreed that if the House GOP principles were embraced and that we were on the road to a better agreement, now facilitated by McCain, that he should fly in to Mississippi for a victory lap.

Granted, McCain has to perform well tonight. He also needs to answer foreign policy questions with tangential impacts to the global economy, thereby leaving BO in the dust.

McCain has dominated the news this week. At worst, he has neutralized an issue that would kill him in the election. He has successfully tied BO and the RATS to Bush, not himself. He has gotten into BO’s head and disrupted his debate prep.

Shall we continue?

Please refer me to a link where McCain has stated whether he supports the President’s proposal or the house republican proposal. I have seen Senators Shelby and Bunning come out against the president. I have not seen or heard John McCain join them. If he has please provide the link. This blind revisionist hero worship and spinning of John McCain has got to stop. John “Country First” McCain is the same guy that brought us Amnesty and CFR while voting against the Bush tax cuts. The same guy that called Rumsfeld the worst Sec Def in US history. So please stop pretending that he’s the standard bearer for GOP principles.
