Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Friday 9/26/08
The EIB Network ^ | September 26, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/26/2008 8:20:04 AM PDT by TSchmereL

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

I am with Rush. I feel enraged over what the Democrats are trying to do to this country and have always done. This is over the top in this crisis.

Imagine if President Bush had had the Secret Service secretly videotape the meeting.....and had the balls to release it now to disprove the ‘Rat lies about the meeting?

SENATOR REID
SHOULD BE
EXPELLED!!!!

Expulsion (see below for Censure cases) Article I, Section 5, of the United States Constitution provides that "Each House [of Congress] may determine the Rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two-thirds, expel a member."

Since 1789, the Senate has expelled only fifteen of its entire membership. Of that number, fourteen were charged with support of the Confederacy during the Civil War. In several other cases, the Senate considered expulsion proceedings but either found the member not guilty or failed to act before the member left office. In those cases, corruption was the primary cause of complaint.

In the entire course of the Senate's history, only four members have been convicted of crimes. They were: Joseph R. Burton (1905), John Hipple Mitchell (1905), Truman H. Newberry (1920), and Harrison Williams (1981). Newberry's conviction was later overturned. Mitchell died. Burton, Newberry, and Williams resigned before the Senate could act on their expulsion.

Expulsion and Censure

I wish friends would listen to RUSH... sadly, many think he is arrogant! NOT!!

I used to despise him. Couldn’t handle his show. Would walk out when hubby was listening...
One summer while on our fishing boat at Big Bear Lake, hubby turned on his transistor radio! I had no choice...either jump overboard and swim to shore or listen.

I chose the later and from that point on knew Rush was a man of truth!!!!
After a record catch, we went home... and I was a reformed Rush Listener!!!

Not particularly good news here:

A Hostile Audience [Rich Lowry]

One side effect of McCain’s debate gambit is, I’m told, that everyone at Ole Miss now hates him. It will make for a very hostile audience tonight among those students and faculty attending. He might have to apologize for creating the uncertainty or make some explanation up front, which is never ideal.

1995 Redux? [Rich Lowry]

A friend on Capitol Hill in a very dark mood thinks so. Last time, House Republicans got blamed for shutting down the government, this time they’ll get blamed for shutting down the financial system. He also worries—did I mention he’s in a dark mood?—that if nothing passes and the crash comes, the country may arrive at a turning point, moving irrevocably in the direction of a social democracy.

Boehner on Fox News: “We will not agree to a Bill at taxpayer’s expense just to bail out Wall Street.” Congressman Roy Blunt spoke as well. Boehner took some questions and told the press that he’d been in conversations with the administration and the Speaker of the House all week. There was nothing that was put on the table yesterday that the Speaker, the Secretary of the Treasury or the President didn’t already know about. Conversations have been going on at that level, and I don’t know what games were being played at the White House yesterday...a gang-up on Boehner, but if they thought they were rolling me, they were kidding themselves.”

Is that Shumer saying don’t need McCain to throw “FIRE on these FLAMES?” Is he a complete genius or what? How do you fire on flames, einstein?

bans will expire, opening up both the Outer Continental Shelf and the Mountain West for oil and gas exploration, including oil shale.

Buy real estate in Denver, Boise and Salt Lake. I think you'll see start up oil companies headquartered in one of those cities.

McCaskill translation:

“We can’t pass this bailout plan in a partisan manner because when the plan is made public and everybody sees the pork and fraud, we will never be elected to a majority for the rest of the century.”

The DNC is all about the “Fairness Doctrine” and media control!

Dems have been trying to squelch any media not in line with them for over 60 years by continually re offering the Fairness Doctrine.
