Palin filibusters. She repeats words, filling space with deadwood. Cut the verbiage and there's not much content there. Here's but one example of many from her interview with Hannity "Well, there is a danger in allowing some obsessive partisanship to get into the issue that we're talking about today. And that's something that John McCain, too, his track record, proving that he can work both sides of the aisle, he can surpass the partisanship that must be surpassed to deal with an issue like this."

When Couric pointed to polls showing that the financial crisis had boosted Obama's numbers, Palin blustered wordily: "I'm not looking at poll numbers. What I think Americans at the end of the day are going to be able to go back and look at track records and see who's more apt to be talking about solutions and wishing for and hoping for solutions for some opportunity to change, and who's actually done it?" ********************************************************

Yeah, compared to the "ones" answers to questions..."uhh...uhmmm..uhh...errr...uhhmm, lost my teleprompter, heh,heh..uhhh..." Palins answers were fine. She's a politician and they are wordy. Her answer to the "polls" question was especially good, in my view and frankly I'm at a loss to see what exactly this writer is trying to point out with this article.

Her Wikipedia bio indicates she appears on the Chris Matthews show. That should tell you all you need to know about Kathleen Parker, faux conservative.

I for one have never heard of her and, once she enjoys her 15 minutes of fame from Chrissie, Olberman and the rest of that pack, she will disappear again. Is Townhall so hard up they have to print junk like his? No wonder Mary Katherine Hamm left.

By the way, Kathleen, Sarah Palin has managed to get elected to the City Council, Mayor, drive a state Party Chairman (who was doing party work at taxpayers’ expense) out of office, drive an ethically challenged Attorney General from office and defeat a sitting governor and former governor to become the first woman governor of the largest state in the Union. All while raising five children. What have you done with your life other than to print your miserable little columns and wallow in obscurity? Oh, I forgot. you go on the Chris Matthews show.

We've got to remind ourselves that Governor Palin is the antithesis of Washington "insiders"....a female, a mother, a mother of 5 children, a mother of a disabled child, a mother of a child who is pregnant, a mother of a son going to Iraq....a woman who literally went from the PTA to the city council to the mayors office to the governors office.....

we love her because she is one of us....

Sarah Palin has answered far tougher questions than Hussein has answered in 2 years...he's never been put on the spot, never had anyone interview him who isn't bowing down , never , never , never....

my prediction.....Sarah Palin will be a wonderful and capable and likeable vice president who will do more for foreign relations and bridge building than anyone preceeding her not named Reagan....you'll see..
