They are still flying the Bear, if it works why bother with it? We have the B52 they have theirs, btw its nothing new about Russia flying close to our border, last near flight was March and I think that is what this article is about.
The Tu-95MS Bear H’s are new-build airframes. The last came off the production line in the early 1990s. These are long-range air-launched cruise missile carriers. In comparison the youngest B-52H is from October 1962.
