Regardless of where it’s going, i just thought it was odd that the same amount of money is being bandied about on both issues.
There’s a lot of money out there if we can ANNUALLY send $700 billion to other countries, and still have the same amount (the EXACT amount) to be used for a bail out...

Indeed, it does! What we need to realize, IMMEDIATELY, is that the lack of anything approaching energy independence is why we are financially in danger. The same issue is a major portion of our national physical peril because our dependecne upon others for our enemy needs makes us vulnerable in a way that cuts off our use of military when threatened. The further we indenture ourselves to others, the less independent we are. We have already reached the point of dependency and the democrat party wants it to accelerate!
