Yea, I wondered that myself. Why is there a shortage? There is ample gas in the US, what’s going on in NC to cause this?

Anti-gouging laws. Stations can’t afford the gas.

NC price and anti gouging controls. Even a modest and temp price increase could be seen as gouging and then investigated.
