Bill Clinton is really polishing his elder statesman act this week isn't he? Haven't been able to escape him he's made so many appearances.... is he running for office this November too?

I never thought I’d see the day when Bill Clinton and I were supporting the same candidate, even if both of us would prefer not to admit it. This is where pop politics has brought us, courtesy of a nescient media.
Thank goodness for Sarah.

Ive wondered the same thing, AG, maybe? It would look very bi-partisan and Hillary could go after all the Obamacrats who stabbed her in the back. Clyburn, Richardson and Olbermann would seek asylum in Iran. Or alternatively, might he offer Bubba Secretary of State?
OMG! No please no!

Not to be flippant, but all we can do is pray.
I say that because we’re in this mess because govt and greed on the part of borrowers, lenders, speculators etc. deliberately and cynically got us into this OR none of them knew what they were doing. Either way we’re screwed.
Just pray this is resolved in the way that hurts the innocent and non culpable the least. And whatever way that is, we won’t, of course, know what might have been an even worse solution or solutions.

I kid. I kid.
A Venn Diagram would have a bunch of circles that show sets and subsets. In this case, the set of "peole who might vote for Obama" would include some "people who don't actually like Obama, but are loyal to the Democrat Party".
Those same people would be in an overlapping circle: "People who might vote for McCain".
I could explain better, but I received a Government School education myself.
Anyway, Clinton is giving these people permission to vote for McCain, in opposition to the strong-arm Obama technique, "my way, or you're a racist". This is potentially a huge factor. Rush was right when he said that there is an uncivil war in the Democrat party.

Ok, now you are talking about 4th grade which was 31 years ago! Let’s be honest: before this post, when was the last time you had a reason to use a Venn diagram (and helping your kids doesn’t count)? Nice graphics, by the way. I suspected that’s what a Venn diagrams was, just for the record. A lot of cobwebs and alcohol have replaced stuff like that in my brain, though.

(CNN) Promising a very bipartisan approach to how hell run his administration, Sen. John McCain said in an interview broadcast Sunday that he would appoint Democrats to his Cabinet. But will he be bipartisan enough to actually appoint any conservatives to his cabinet?

You are not Flippant. Prayer is always of value.
Sometimes I just wonder what God is doing, if he is listening or has a different plan.
I’m told, God only gives you what you can handle but sometimes he must think more of us then we do ourselves.

Lieberman Sec. of Agriculture?I don't know about Agriculture. I could live with Lieberman as NSA Director or Secretary of State because on the WOT, he gets it. On almost every other issue, Lieberman is wrong. A guy like Ben Nelson, the Democrat Senator from Nebraska, would probably be alright as Secretary of Agriculture. Any Democrat in the cabinet would have to be a true moderate Democrat.
