"He then said I would actually also like to look at us potentially suspending campaigns and pushing debates off. What I suggested to him was, well, why don't we get the joint statement out first and our staffs will discuss this," Obama said.

McCain needs to get this statement into an ad ASAP!!! Real simple ad : Run McCain statement of returning to Washington because of crisis. Run Obame Statement. Narrator Voice Over : IN a time of crisis, John McCain took action, Barack Obama wanted to discuss it in committee.

It is energizing at the least to see it happen. Above all, it makes obammy look more like a tag-a-long than a leader; his older brother called the game because he had to go to work, kid-brother stamps his feet all the way him in a protest fit crying he still wants to play.

McCain has some brilliant moves and seems to do it ad-lib when needed and leverage some odd situations with a beauty that can only be described as artistic. I love a well executed play. All this is not to mention, there is a crisis back home. The adults need to go deal with their responsibilities. This makes obammy look so petty in the big picture.

I hope and pray that you're right, and that this isn't a "Hail Mary" pass in view of the polls.
