I've been seeing commercials on Fox News TV about this website. So thought I'd go over there and check it out.
Notwithstanding the site seems to want to sell services to the public, the analysis there looks pretty reasonable, and their coverage "fair and balanced": Jeepers, they'll sell you a Obama/Biden bumper sticker!!! LOL!
The editorial stance on this site struck me as favoring low taxes and small government.
FReepers, if you have the time and interest, please go over there, then come back and tell us what you think.
I went over there the first time I saw their debut commerical a week or two ago. It looks good. I look forward to seeing their next commerical - something harder hitting.
1. Small main street businesses would be forced to pay tax rates as high as 62.3% under Senator Obamas tax proposals.RightChange states that, In fact, we often hear politicians making grand promises with other peoples money. That is, with our money. That's a direct quote. :^)2. Senator Obamas tax plan would tax small businesses at a higher rate than Wal-Mart!
3. Taxes on retirement income and savings could increase by at least 33%, hitting millions of seniors when they need these resources the most.
4. 4 million workers over the age of 50 those eagerly looking forward to retirement would be hit with increased tax bills.
5. Millions of Americans would only keep 38 cents of every dollar that they earn.
6. Senator Obamas tax plan would reduce the after tax wages of millions of workers by 17.7%.
7. It will take 227 days per year, nearly 8 months, just to pay your tax bill!
8. 97,065 carpenters, 110,908 police officers, 254,992 nurses, 208,562 postsecondary teachers and 237,000 dentists would see tax increases, if the earnings cap was successfully eliminated.
9. 10.3 million workers would see an average of $5,650 taken from their paycheck and given to government programs.
10. Even YOU might be considered Rich.
That is dearly to be wished, Norman Bates! Thank you so much for writing!
I actually saw the commercial myself for the first time a few days ago. It’s catchy and I took a peak at the site too. Looks like good stuff.
I bookmarked their site a couple weeks ago after I saw their ad on Fox. Some good figures there.
You’re welcome! I mean it was a good ice breaker commericial. Now they need to delve into specifics.
Hmm. All I could say was WTF?
Obnoxious dude annoys people with bullhorn rantings. Then absentmindedly falls (or jumps, not sure) over a bridge, with the crowd showing a lot of undue concern. Then he is saved by a bungee cord that comes out of somewhere, and the crowd remains perplexed, as are the viewers. Then the web site address. Viewers scratch their heads.
That’s my review of the commercial anyway.
That's the one I saw too!
It makes a very provocative and enormously hard-hitting point: Do you really want to dive off a cliff to your imminent demise because you (for some strange reason) want to elect this Obama fraud just so you can "feel good" about yourself and your Party Line?
Thanks so much for the link, Maelstrom! Great viewing!
Yeah. But then evidently a number of us FReepers actually went over there; and are making up their own minds about what they saw there....
Go check out the site. The commercial was only a teaser....
I just saw it a little while ago.I didn’t like it.Makes no sense.
I think they are on the right track. As to their commercials...well, as Clinton might say...they are good, but no cigar yet! Maybe they’ll be able to get their point across with a little more clarity soon.
The site strikes me as a little thin.
It’s supposed to make you want to visit their site, LOL.
They are probably preparing new material. We need more groups like this.
OK here’s what I got out of it.The people looked annoyed and didn’t want to hear what he had to say.He fell off a bridge-Thank God that will shut him up.Oh wait he might be a good guy-what was that web address.Tell them to save their money and get more people to critique before they air more-not insiders.
