For a handgun, I liked the SIG, but I carry a Berretta 92. If I am feeling really Militant, I have a Colt Commander that I carry with my CCW,
My first Adult Rifle purchase was a Ruger Mini 14. Good shooter but hard to find aftermarket Mags for it.
