Despite supporting him eight years ago, I had a hard time warming up to John McCain this time around until added Governor Sarah Palin to the ticket. He has been a grumpy old hot head who has used colorful language and offended me on many previous occasions. At this point though I believe Rush is completely correct calling him Senator McBrilliant. I had predicted in several posts that the Democrats would do everything possible to torpedo the economy to help Obama win. McCain has out maneuvered them again. By sticking to his theme of America first and politics second; he may just pull this thing off.
I think we are seeing the truth that there is a man who may be “the” man for the times. Maybe not for last election or next, but today . . . yep.
