From the info I have it sounds like Obama is changing nothing: continuing his campaign and refusing to reschedule the debate. This means that the present crisis apparently does not transcend partisan politics in his mind.

I have faith in the old veteran pilot. I hope his leadership here works - not just politically, but for our economy.

If that is so, I think it would be politically disastrous to The One’s campaign. Anytime they are forced to think and react quickly, it goes very, very badly. So I hope and pray you are correct.
