I know. People just “don’t get it.” They’re treating this like just another election year issue/argument.
Deflation = Great Depression II. Paulson & Co are trying to act before it is too late. Is their plan the best? No... but all I’ve seen so far is attacks, but no alternatives.
You mean like taking our lumps and letting the market work it out instead of pouring trillions down a rat hole? You're right. I haven't seen anyone with the 'nads to suggest it.
It needs to be repeated. Not to scare people, but to let them know just how serious this crisis is.
The real estate collpase is taking trillions of dollars out of our economy. We can't really borrow any more. Printing hundreds of billions creates other serious problems.
I hope the adults in Washington are able to figure this out. A debate should be the least of their worries right now.
