So this is no different then any other election? This trouble we now face is "routine"? It doesn't require any special attention from our elected officials? The fact the entire economy of the free world is at stake means to you, "business as usual"?

Politicians conducted normal campaigning in the middle of wars and other emergencies in the past. The suggestion that it can’t be done now just comes across as a BS excuse to avoid some sort of embarassment.
