Well McCain's people suggested next Thursday for the Presidential debate. That's the same night as the VP debate, therefore the VP debate would have to be moved back (I don't see them holding both debates on the same night and I'd bet the organizations involved would not sign off on it anyways). It's a moot point - the organizations running Friday night's debate are going through with it, regardless of whether McCain shows up or not.
