You must know a very atypical group of people. Presidential debates draw some of the biggest audiences ever, and this one Friday was expected to be one of the most watched ever. Check these audience figures for the top 10 presidential debates ever:

People are definitely interested in presidential debates, and it’s silly to argue otherwise. That’s the primary decisions making time for many voters, and they are credited with making or breaking more than one nominee in the past.

atypical? you might say that. i live in the northern VA suburbs of DC, kind of a highly politicized environment... LOL! you are intent on believing that the world is sitting in rapt attention, waiting for this debate. i just don’t think it’s so. maybe YOU are the one hanging with the atypical group of people : )
