It's tonight, not tomorrow.
My mistake - he's speaking at the Clinton's event tonight but suspending his campaign tomorrow.
Still, my point stands - if the economy is important enough to miss the Presidential debate Friday, it's important enough to skip out on the Clinton's tonight. McCain maybe loyal to his friends, but they are still Clintons in the end and they still understand politics and wouldn't be upset.

Maybe in your mind, but not mine or most folks here on FR.
Look, Harry Reid called McCain today and told him not to come back to D.C., that he wouldn't be of any help. Now, you tell me, would you stay or would you go, especially in light of the fact that top Democrats were saying just yesterday, that McCain needed to vote on this issue?

The Senate won't be open and nobody will be around to work with. McCain catches a flight after his dinner tonight and is in DC tomorrow morning, working through the week. McCain has offered REPEATEDLY to debate Obama anytime, anywhere, and the Obamedia never ask Obama about this.
