With an aggressively hostile opponent who had been one of Abe's generals at one time.
That would be a huge talking point for Obama's people - during the most important (and tragic) event in this nation's history, Lincoln could campaign and debate against an openly hostile Democrat who was also one of his generals (and General McClellan didn't resign his commission until the day before the election I believe).
Meanwhile John McCain can't campaign because a few companies made some bad decisions (but he can still make time to speak at the Clintons' event tomorrow).

Meanwhile John McCain can't campaign because a few companies made some bad decisions (but he can still make time to speak at the Clintons' event tomorrow). You are clueless about what is really at stake in this crisis. Even Obama admitted that it was similar to the Great Depression. Watch the Bush speech tonight and see what he has to say about it and the urgency of needing to act.
It is my understanding that the Clinton event is tonight.
